Meet the Team

Although Dr. Michael Marcus graduated in 1987 from Loyola University School of Dentistry, his education is ongoing, as he stays updated on the latest advances in dental medicine. When he’s not in the office caring for patients, he is attending seminars or workshops on the latest technology, techniques, and dental equipment. He understands that the more he learns, the more he can help his patients.

Dr. Michael Marcus is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, Seattle Study Club, the Academy of Computerized Dentistry of North America, Cranial Academy (a specialty branch of osteopathic medicine) and the International Academy of Laser Dentistry.

His focus is on your dental health and well-being, which means he makes sure everything is working correctly and feels comfortable. He wants to make sure your teeth feel as good as they look, and doesn’t want anything to hurt! The bottom line? Dr. Michael Marcus gives patients healthy mouths and beautiful smiles.

Noelle

Office Manager

With several years of experience in the dental industry, Noelle wears many hats including welcoming patients to our practice and making sure every patient feels comfortable. Outside of work, Noelle enjoys spending time with her greatest supporter, her husband Kennith, along with her adoring, close-knit family. You can also find her taking her beloved dog, Champ, to the local dog part to play with his furry friends.

Alyssa

Business Development and Marketing Manager

Alyssa’s daily inspiration comes from working alongside her father, Dr. Michael Marcus, who in addition to her sister, Abby, are her biggest supporters. With two years of experience in the development and marketing role, she has become well-versed in the world of dentistry and is completing a master’s degree in integrative medicine. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with her sweet dog, Wrigley.

Yuliya

Dental Hygienist

Yuliya has four years of experience as a dental hygienist with nearly three of those years here at Marcus Dental Practice. She is passionate about educating her patients on their dental health and helps to provide an exceptional experience at every appointment. Yuliya and her husband Stanly love spending time with their active son Martin and dog Ori, along with enjoying running, hiking, cooking, and traveling.

Karla

Dental Hygienist

Our newest dental hygienist is Karla, who comes to us with four years of experience practicing dental hygiene. When asked about her role models, she acknowledges her mom, dad and sister as playing vital roles in shaping who she is today. In her spare time, she explores dining at new Latin cuisines, going to concerts, hiking, and spending quality time with loved ones.

Marissa

Dental Assistant/Specialty Assistant

With a vast knowledge of the dental field, Marissa has 16 years of experience with a specialty in ortho, sleep apnea and TMD assisting. As our Dental and Specialty Assistant, she plays an invaluable role in the supportive team culture of our practice. Outside of work, she takes advantage of the outdoors and enjoys cooking, baking, reading and spending time with her daughter Alizé and two dogs, Choco and Coco.

Ashley

Dental Assistant

Ashley is one of our rockstar Dental Assistants at Marcus Dental Practice and is a proud graduate of the Dental Academy of Chicago. She has worked hard this past year to perfect the art of assisting and credits her mother as being one of her biggest supporters. Ashley is an avid reader and is excited to expand her dental knowledge by learning from her encouraging team members.
