Sleep Apnea Sufferer

Sleep Apnea

Persistent snoring is just one of the symptoms of a condition known as sleep apnea. Those who suffer from apnea are likely to experience other health conditions and potential risks. If you are suffering from this breathing disorder, Dr. Marcus offers a consultation to help determine your risk level for Obstructive Sleep Apnea. Our goal is to provide a solution that will allow you to sleep soundly at night and be productive during the day.

TMD/TMJ

Millions of American adults suffer from chronic facial pain, such as jaw pain, headaches or earaches. The source of these aches and pains may be related to one or both of the temporomandibular (TM) joints. TMJ stands for the temporomandibular joint, which connects the lower to the upper jaw. When the TMJ becomes misaligned or inflamed, it is considered a disorder of the TMJ, or TMD. We have extensive experience treating patients for the pain associated with TMD and offer a number of ways to make symptoms disappear. If you’re ready to find relief for your TMD symptoms, let us help alleviate your chronic pain.

Airway Orthodontics

Dr. Marcus has decades of proven experience in Airway Orthodontics, an integrative alternative to traditional orthodontics that looks at the entirety of your overall health. Crooked teeth and misaligned jaws are signs of significant issues that our brain and bodies are attempting to cope with. By addressing the negative changes in the way our faces are developing, we can restore balance and eliminate deficiencies in the way our faces grow, the way our airways develop, and also allow teeth to align in the most ideal manner.

As adults begin to seek orthodontic treatment for lapses or corrective issues, they may feel their options are limited. Dr. Marcus specializes in refined techniques that help grow new bone and correct skeletal and airway deficiencies. Our treatment offers the ideal solution for balance, posture, wellness, and unimpeded cognitive development, even easier to correct in children who are still growing.

Veneers

Laser Surgery

LANAP® (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure) is the FDA approved, minimally invasive alternative to gum surgery. Many postpone care because of the invasiveness of traditional gum surgery procedures. Only a select group of dental professionals in the country, including Dr. Michael Marcus in Chicago Loop, have completed the certification requirements and possess the resources needed to perform the LANAP®. We are proud to offer the latest technology with amazing results.

Porcelain Veneers

If you want to makeover your smile without surgery or braces, veneers might be an ideal solution. Most patients qualify for this type of treatment, so if you have worn enamel, permanent stains, wear and tear, or uneven teeth that detract from the beauty of your smile, you are probably a good candidate. The porcelain finish gives them a more natural appearance than other types of veneers.

Dentures

A denture is an appliance inserted in the mouth that replaces natural teeth and provides support for the cheeks and lips. Dentures are made of acrylic and can be fabricated to fit over treated teeth and can be attached to dental implants for a more secure fit.

Implant supported Dentures

Implant supported dentures are firmly attached to your mouth using dental implants, as opposed to traditional dentures, which rest on top of the gums and are removed nightly. Since implant supported dentures are snapped into place using the implant for reinforcement, your dentures will feel more secure, allowing you to smile with confidence without fussing over adhesives or denture paste.

Dental Implants

High-quality materials, state-of-the-art equipment, and knowledge of the most advanced techniques is essential to providing dental care that will protect your teeth and restorations. If you’re missing teeth or struggling with ill-fitting dentures, you’re familiar with the many pain points and may want to consider dental implants. This solution allows you to have teeth that are permanent and as stable as your natural ones, giving you the security to eat and speak with confidence. Read more here.
