Meet the Team
Hygienists
Joan & Melissa
Joan & Melissa are the team hygienists. They are both highly experienced and proficient in all aspects of dental hygiene. Joan attended Kalamazoo Valley College in Michigan, and has been with us since 2000. Melissa attended the Kennedy King hygiene program through University of Illinois at Chicago. She graduated in 2004 and has been with us since September 2009.
Treatment Coordinators
Alison & Dawn
Alison and Dawn are our treatment, scheduling and insurance coordinators. They will assist with treatment plans, appointments, payment arrangements and insurance information. They have over 24 years combined experience in the dental field. Alison and Dawn have been with us since 2007.
Assistants
Laura, Adisa & Lourdes
Laura is Dr. Michael Marcus’ assistant and provides valuable assistance with all procedures and helps to make our patients comfortable. Laura has attended Wright College & has been assisting for five years.
Adisa is a valuable team member assisting the hygienists and dental assistants. She is attending Oakton Community College. Adisa has been with us since 2009.
Lourdes is an essential member of our team providing chair side assistance to Dr. David Marcus. Lourdes was a practicing dentist in the Philippines until 1995. She has been with us since 2003.
